Look into each other’s eyes. Sit opposite one another on the floor or bed, and just look into each other’s eyes. With life being so busy, it can feel like we hardly get to really see each other so take your time, look into each others eyes and see what transpires.
We recently had a lovely spontaneous date night at Bistro 1682 and I would definitely recommend it especially if you can sit outside on a beautiful summers evening. You can read about our date night at Bistro 1682 here.
This is somewhere I am lusting over at the moment. Although it’s not exactly cheap, which is why I’m lusting and not going, Grootbos Private Nature Reserve looks like one of those places that you just can’t go wrong with. My husband can surprise me with this anytime!
Have you ever thought about watching a movie while soaking in a nice warm bath? Well, now you sort of can as Movie Tub comes to Cape Town! Personally, I am not sure about this one myself but thought I would share it as it looks interesting and could be lots of fun. Would love feedback if you go! (apologies but since posting this, I have just seen that this event has been cancelled due to low ticket sales)
I’m featuring Cafe Roux again as I would book your tickets now to see Matthew Mole playing there on the 25, 26 and 27 November. And of course a little reminder to catch The Plastics there this Friday Night. You can get to know the lead singer, Pascal, a bit better in my interview of him and his girlfriend Lauren in ‘Your Stories’.
