Write each other’s eulogy. Don’t think I’m being totally morbid here but why does it often take someone dying for us to really open up and say what we feel? Or to focus on the positive? Wouldn’t you want to know what your partner would say about you while you’re still here to hear it? If you read my recent post, you will understand why this is on my mind at the moment.
We recently had another spontaneous date night where we got in the car and didn’t know where we were going. We ended up at Sushi Box on Kloof Street followed by a movie at the Labia Theatre. The food was very good and the vibe very cool. I would definitely recommend it as a quick bite before a movie and a great date night out.
What I would give right now to go away for a weekend…sigh…do it if you can! The Zensa Lodge in Scarborough looks like a beautiful place to unwind, relax and enjoy being with each other and they have a great deal for a weekend away.
How about some salsa to awaken your passion? This week is the Cape Town Salsa Festival so head down to the Sea Point Pavillion where you can dance with your loved one while the sun sets at the Sun-Kissed Salsa Social.
While this may not be for everyone, I think it looks amazing. Make your way to Camps Bay beach for the Beach Dance Meditation on the 24th November. If you’re up for a bit of yoga, meditation and dance, I think this is a beautiful way to spend time together and nourish your souls.
